Tough division to call to start, Bills are the reigning champions whilst Miami got much closer last year before fading in the final run in. NY Jets & New England remain hard teams to predict both have good defences but questions on offence.
Miami - the run game if mostert & Achane & the WRs hill & Waddell are as a quartet probably the league’s quickest. Alongside Tua, injuries may well derail things but given the bills brutal schedule their time to file the AFC East again may finally have arrived.
NY Jets - top 5 defence with wrecking ball Q Williams as the star man will certainly keep them in most games especially with their soft schedule. The question mark is of course how good & how committed is Aaron Rodgers? He’s 3 years removed from his last great season & now aged 40. Whilst tyrod Taylor provides cover that they have lacked we still don’t see him as a division winning QB.
Buffalo Bills - defending champs & possibly the best team in the division but their schedule is brutal. The loss of Stefan Diggs will hurt leaving a lot on the shoulders of Josh Allen, Dalton Kincaid & James cook. The defence whilst in some transition should still be solid but the schedule is just tough to see more than 9/10 wins. Playoffs strong possibility though.
New England patriots - strong defence but remains to be seen what the loss of Bill Belichick will mean for it. On offence it’s Jacoby Brissetts job at QB for now but rookie Drake Maye may well play sooner than later. First year HC Mayo has a lot on his plate & right now it’s hard to see too many wins.
